Description
~ The Company of Scotland ~ The Company of Scotland (Full title: The Company of Scotland Trading to Africa and the Indies) was a joint stock company setup in Edinburgh in 1695. Which went on to have an extremely unsuccessful time attempting to colonise modern day Panama before being dissolved in 1707. This group is a non-historical remake of the company where the men behind it decide not to go down the route of the Darien Scheme but decide to make the Company a competitor for England's East India Trading Company, and at a later date decide to indeed do the Darien scheme. Now the company is a tough competitor for the East India company and has a colony in New Caledonia (Modern day Panama) Headquarters of Company: Edinburgh, Scotland.
