Retexture Texture Offical Channel #608036
Description
The purpose of this group is to help those interested in learning how to retexture find out all they need to know to become experts. Basic Steps to Start with: 1. Find a good hat that you want to retexture. 2. To insert hats and gears enter: Workspace:InsertContent("http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id=123456789") into the command line. Replace 123456789 with the items ID. Find the hat from the workspace menu, on the mes get 'TextureID'. Copy the numbers, JUST the numbers. 3. Open up any hat in the roblox catalog, and replace the ID numbers in the web address. 4. You should see the image, save it and modify it to your liking using editing programs such as Photoshop or even Paint! 5. Upload it as a decal to roblox as a .PNG 6. Copy the numbers from your NEW decal, back to roblox studio in the 'TextureID' section. 7. Minus one from the ID, so '75743' would become '75742'. This is so Roblox sees it as an image, not a decal. Or get it from the My Decals in the Toolbox.
