Description
Our mission is to make learning about the world's most incredible biodiverse ecosystems fun, engaging, and inspiring! Right now, many amazing species of plants and animals are disappearing faster than ever because their homes are being destroyed. Industries—like oil drilling, mining, industrial farming, large-scale logging, and palm oil plantations—often fund politicians that remove protections from national wildlife reserves; this makes it easier to clear forests, drain wetlands, and damage habitats for some crazy cool creatures you wish you knew existed sooner! On top of that, companies can lobby to keep environmental education underfunded so you don't even know it's a problem! Our first game series, "Faded Forests," lets you explore real rainforests from around the world. As you walk through, you can click on animals and plants to learn fun facts and see how each one helps the ecosystem. You’ll discover how everything in nature is connected, and why protecting it is so important.
