Gruppe 601 is a group that was originally formed from military officers and scientists located in a small Arctic settlement that was founded during the Great Antarctic Expedition of 1938 by a renowned Government Official to set a secure research station away from civilization. After the Soviet raid of the Ahnenerbe headquarters in 1948, the remaining division in the Arctic would be informed of the incident and would be known for being the last remains of the division and of their former nation, with this they would begin organizing multiple raids to both American and Soviet research installation with hope of retrieving the stolen technology.
