☨ The Kingdom of Lithuania ☨ ----------------------------------- The Kingdom of Lithuania is a Lithuanian monarchy, formed on 17 July 1251 on the orders of Pope Innocent IV. Two years later, Mindaugas and his queen Morta were crowned as the king and queen of Lithuania. Following the establishment of the monarchy, King Mindaugas' nephew Treniota formed an alliance with the Kingdom of Poland and helped establish the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. But what if Lithuania stayed independent? This kingdom is a look at what would have happened if Treniota had never conspired with the Polish to establish the dual monarchy.
