Description
Welcome! This group is for anyone who wants to learn about or connect with Pentecostal Christianity — a movement within the Christian faith focused on experiencing God’s power through the Holy Spirit. The word Pentecostal comes from Pentecost, the day in Acts 2 when the Holy Spirit first filled Jesus’ followers after His resurrection. They spoke in other tongues and boldly shared God’s message — and Pentecostals believe that same power is still active today. 📖 “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come… they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues.” — Acts 2:1-4 Pentecostals believe faith isn’t just something you know — it’s something you live and experience through a close relationship with God. Pentecostal worship is expressive and heartfelt — with prayer, singing, clapping, and sometimes dancing. It’s all about honoring God with joy and sincerity, not show. 📖 Psalm 150:6 — “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”
