THE SECOND AUGUSTAN LEGION At the beginning of Augustus' rule, in 25 BC, this legion was relocated in Hispania, to fight in the Cantabrian Wars, which definitively established supremacy in Hispania, and later camped in Hispania Tarraconensis.
