Konungariket Sverige, Kingdom of Sweden for L’Âge de Triomphe The year is 1814, and The Kingdom of Sweden is at its strongest, poised on the edge of a definitive transformation that will reshape Scandinavian history forever. Fresh off the geopolitical maneuvering of the Napoleonic Wars and armed with the Treaty of Kiel, the Swedish military, under the brilliant leadership of King, Starplatinum112233, he moves swiftly to secure its promised prize: Norway. Though the Norwegians have defiantly declared independence and drafted their own constitution, Sweden's decisive, brief military campaign forces them into a personal union under the Swedish crown. Paradoxically, this high-water mark of Swedish geopolitical dominance and territorial leverage also signals the end of its warring era; the conclusion of this brief conflict will inadvertently birth Sweden's historic, centuries-long era of absolute military neutrality.
