Description

-- 🧨🦁 Welcome to Robert Healy's Official Lion Dance Team 🕺💃-- About us: 👏 This is founded by Ms. Ngyuen and Ms. Bartucci. 🎭 We Perform with Southern Style Lion Dance Heads and Dragons (These Lions are made in parts of the Guangdong Province like Foshan in China.) 🏆We are the best Elementary Lion Dance Team in Chicago! 💯 What is Lion Dance? 🤔 Lion Dance is a sport that takes martial arts like the traditional Kung Fu . The reason why lion dance is performed is because it is believed to scare of the bad spirits and bring in good health with prosperity 🤑. The lions are inspired by a monster named Nian who is believe to attack people. However, these lions are doing the opposite and instead of scaring humans they help the humans. These stories took place during the Tang Dynasty. Thank you for support us! As always Gong xi fat choi, good health, and we wish you prosperity! 🦁🪘Roles- - Lion Heads (Red/Yellow) -Buddhas -Dragon - Drummer -Gong -Symbals
