HISTORY: On September 20, 1627, Leonor de Rabutin, count of Bussy, dit Leonor Bussy-Rabutin raised his infantry regiment1. In 1630 the regiment was reformed. On August 6, 1633, the regiment was reformed to participate in the actions and combats of the Thirty Years War In 1641, it was reduced to 4 garrison companies (and became inactive). March 6, 1652, the regiment is reformed again, in Nivernais, and takes part in the Spanish - French war On July 29, 1656, the regiment was responsible for guarding the town of La Fère, which held one of the Oise2 passages, and was incorporated, with other regiments, into the La Fère regiment.
