Description
The Astra Militarum is the hammer of the Emperor. Plain and simple. There are trillions of us. From a thousand different worlds, with a thousand different ways to die. Cadians, Catachans, Valhallans, Kriegers, we all bleed the same color when a las-round punches through. We don't have fancy shields like the Adeptus Astartes. We don't have the psychic power of the Golden Throne's pets. We have lasguns; reliable, simple, mass-producible lasguns, and the guts to stand in a firing line while a Chaos Warhound Titan stomps toward us. Our job is to hold the line. Doesn't matter if it's against xenos, heretics, or something that crawled out of a warp rift. A commissar behind you with a bolt pistol is just as motivating as the enemy in front. The Astra Militarum is humanity's wall. And on Cadia, before it fell, we learned that walls don't hold because they're strong. They hold because the men standing behind them refuse to break. Now fix your bayonet. We move out in five.
