Description
South Scanian Infantry Regiment 𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙎𝙄𝙆𝙏; The South Scanian regiment was one of the new regiments raised in 1811 after the loss of all Finnish regiments. Two whole rotations were instated to maintain the regiment as many Swedish regiments before were. It's sister regiment, the Norra Skåne as a similar story. Many of the Finnish soldiers that were repatriated found themselves in one of these regiments. The South Scanian regiment was among the first to be fully equipped with the new, M/1810 uniforms
