Mayflower People's Corps Reserve Militia #634279004
Description
The Mayflower People's Militia is a militia which was founded in Elizabeth County, State of Mayflower, within the Union of Columbia on August 4th, 1987. Ever since then, the militia has been a private modest and upheld militia for the purpose of the defense of the State incase of invasion, lack of ability by law enforcement or the State National Guard, or protection at local events based on commission or request. The militia was founded by Union Marine veterans following the conclusion of the Central Columbian campaigns, and is currently headed by a Colonel and their elected officers. The motto of the militia is “Libertas aut mors”, which when translated to the English tongue, means “Liberty or death.” This motto was chosen in the inaugural address by Colonel T.S. Beauregard, shining a light on the people’s history during the Columbian War of Independence.
