Description

The Alliance Star Fighter Corps, or more commonly known as the Alliance SFC, was the main unit of Star Fighters utilized by the Rebel Alliance. The SFC were either transported on Alliance Capital ships such as the MC80, or they flew into battle by themselves, as the majority of the Star Fighters had their own hyper drive and life support. This allowed them to utilize their hit and run tactics to great affect against the Imperial Fleet. The Alliance Star Fighter Corps utilized 4 main fighters. The X-Wing, The A-Wing, The Y-Wing, and the B-Wing. The X-Wing was the standard fighter used by most pilots. It could stand up to TIE-Fighters and come out on top more times than not. The A-Wing was the Alliance's Interceptor. They were the fastest craft the Alliance utilized, and were used to great effect in space combat.
