𝟕𝟗𝐓𝐇 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐓 (𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐍 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒) 𝙋𝙧𝙤 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙚𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙖 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘺 Founded in 1793 with members of the strong and brave Clan Cameron, the highlander 79th Regiment of Foot would soon prove its worth. Fighting with great prowess in Egypt, and then in the Peninsula they founded ideals that would forever be revered by other regiments. At Waterloo Wellington himself mentioned the regiment in his dispatch, an honour only 3 other regiments had. Absolute excellence and adherence to Scottish tradition has resulted in this regiment having a uniquely colorful and impressive history.
