After initially remaining neutral, Italy entered World War I in 1915 on the side of the Entente, seeking to reclaim *terre irredente* (unredeemed lands) from Austria-Hungary, Trentino, Trieste, Istria, and Dalmatia. The Italian Army faces brutal mountain warfare in the Alps and the Isonzo River, fighting against the Austro-Hungarian forces in grueling battles. Italy stands united under King Vittorio Emanuele III, with soldiers from all regions, Piedmontese, Lombards, Venetians, Tuscans, Neapolitans, and Sicilians, fighting for la Patria. The war tests the nation’s resolve, but victory shall bring glory and the completion of Risorgimento! ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑⛨๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ Avanti Savoia!
