(-WHITELIST-) Diven City was founded in 1729 on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and has spent almost three centuries reinventing itself. Diven City, the industrial heart and shipping hub of the State of Diven grew rich from its waterfront its factories, its warehouses and the constant flow of cargo passing through the bay. For generations it was the place you had to go if you wanted a job, a business or even to smell diesel in the air. But after the economic slump of the 1970s hit hard knocking out a part of its industrial base,the city began a slow and painful decline that never really ended. Today Diven City is a mix of prosperity along the waterfront and deep urban decay. The city center remains active full of businesses, nightlife that look down on the bay. Just beyond that the neighborhoods are filled with abandoned buildings, crime and years of being forgotten.Even though Diven City has lost much of its industrial charm it has not lost its spirit.
