THE EAGLE COHORT LOYAL TO THE EMPEROR & PEOPLE OF ROME The First Cohort of the Tenth Mounted Legion. An Eagle Cohort is the elite First Cohort of an Imperial Roman Legion. They usually have two hundred men more than a basic legionary cohort. They are the veteran elite of the Tenth Mounted Legion.
