When a nuclear exchange between the United States of America and People's Republic of China led to the destruction of global civilization, Robert House and his company had survived by accurately predicting and retreating within the city limits of Las Vegas, Nevada, and now rule over the newly named "New Vegas", alongside three former tribal groups, now renamed to "The Three Families".
