Description
The official High Council division of the Jedi Order, recognized in the Star Wars Project community. The Jedi High Council is comprised of up to twelve seated Jedi who have attained full status within the Order. Each member on the Council is assigned to fill one of twelve seats, though each member is equal in station and authority. It is the collective wisdom of this body that enables the Jedi Order to function in adherence to the will of the Force. The first among equals, however, is the High Council's elected leader: the Master of the Order. The Grand Master of the Order, the most senior and longest serving Jedi Master, also retains a seat upon this Council, though does not lead it. As mentioned above, that responsibility belongs to the office of the Master of the Order.
