Description
The Flood were created by the Precursors to end war in the galaxy by uniting all sentient life into a single group, they also created the Flood to teset the humans to see if they should recieve the Mantle instead of the Forerunners, who were already proven unworthy when they had the Precursor-Forerunner War. The Flood are a highly virulent race of parasitic life that will infect and consume all sentient life in the universe if not stopped...And stopping them seems virtually impossible without the direct favor of the Precursors, who are apparently extinct.
