Description
The Reĝali Guardamarina Calarana, known colloquially as the Marines, are the tip of the spear for military operations conducted overseas. The Guardamarina were raised in the late 1800s to help combat pirate parties raiding coastal towns in the north, and quickly proved themselves to be a ferocious and efficient fighting force. Officially adorned as a branch before the turn of the century the Guardamarina stood out against their Guardaterra and Guardamar counterparts because of their reluctance to uphold longstanding military tradition and instead to adapt into a modern fighting force which gave them the nickname 'The Brutes'. The Marines stand out for their excellent skirmishing abilities and their tactical prowess, making the selection process difficult.
