Description
Sartorial is a group founded to promote and create historically authentic clothing, with a French focus - inspired by the many Napoleonic War Groups on the platform. The team of researchers (5-6 in total) are hellbent on researching anything Napoleonic war related, from flags, to battles, to daily life of a soldier, to uniformology. This group is here to promote that flow of research and art created for the purpose of passion, interest, or purely for fun. This includes GFX's, Tailoring, 3d modeling, etc. Note: Given the amount of variability and complexity of the French compared to many other nations, not to mention the popularity of high command figures -> 70% of info we use for our clothes (ESPECIALLY HIGH COM) is contemporary art, 20% for maximum accuracy is from inspection, colonel, or notes in general, and 10% is mix. We welcome anyone with a keen eye or interest in research for uniformology. Please feel welcome to give suggestions and ideas for what should be made next!
