▣ A Rome community for ROBLOX ▣ "𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞, 𝐈 𝐬𝐚𝐰, 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝." ▣ About the group ▣ This is a roleplay community set back in the ancient times of the Roman Republic. This is an alt-history of if Caesar Augustus chose to maintain the Republic tradition and allow elections for his role. There is a guidebook you can find on how we operate in the communications server. ▣ History ▣ YEAR 20 BC: The Roman Republic was founded in 509 B.C.E. after the last Etruscan king who ruled Rome was overthrown. Rome’s next government served as a representative democracy in the form of a republic. Initially, Rome’s wealthiest families, the patricians, held power, and only they could hold political or religious offices. Everyone else was considered plebeian and could not hold office. Over a period of nearly 200 years, however, the plebeians fought for and gained power within the government in the form of the Plebian Assembly.
