Description
The Vespera Department of Highway Safety & Vehicles was established in 1937 under the State Motor Safety Act to oversee roadway enforcement, driver regulation, and vehicle administration across the State of Vespera. The department is responsible for enforcing traffic laws, promoting highway safety, managing driver licensing and vehicle registration, and supervising the Vespera Highway Patrol to ensure safe and efficient transportation statewide. In 1974, the department implemented major reforms following coordination failures during the South Vespera Evacuation, leading to modernized command, dispatch, and highway incident management systems still in use today.
