Description
The Republic Commandos, also known as Clone Commandos, were the elite special forces of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Genetically enhanced and rigorously trained by Mandalorian sergeants on Kamino, these clones operated in tight four-man squads, excelling at covert operations, infiltration, sabotage, demolition, assassination, and high-risk missions beyond regular troopers' capabilities. Famous squads like Delta, Omega, and others undertook critical tasks, often independently or attached to larger units. They wore distinctive Katarn-pattern armor—sleek, heavily modified Phase II gear in various colors (gray, black accents, squad-specific markings)—designed for stealth, mobility, and survivability, paired with versatile DC-17m interchangeable weapons. Commandos demonstrated exceptional initiative, teamwork, and adaptability, making them the Republic's deadliest operatives in shadows and chaos alike.
