Description
The 501st Legion, was one of the most iconic and elite units in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Originally formed as the 501st Clone Battalion and later expanded into a full legion, it served under Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, and Clone Captain Rex (later Commander Appo after Rex's departure). The legion fought in key battles like Christophsis, the Second Battle of Geonosis, Umbara, and many others, renowned for aggressive tactics, loyalty, and adaptability mirroring Anakin's bold style. Their Phase II armor featured distinctive blue markings on white bases—bold stripes and accents that became synonymous with the unit, later inspiring post-Order 66 Imperial variants. The 501st earned a reputation for tight-knit camaraderie and unwavering resolve, often leading high-stakes assaults alongside their Jedi leaders.
