Description
The S.&.L.P started as a small scale logging company and eventually evolved into an expansive narrow gauge railroad servicing the Little Pine mine. Located in northern Wisconsin, the route connects the mine and logging camps to Lake Superior via the town of Garrettsport. It also passes through the town of Northpoint, an ex-logging camp that developed into a small town. The route travels through the endless North Woods and is quite the trip to experience.
