Description
DoS personnel provide facility security, asset protection, and armed security for SERA command centers, emergency shelters, disaster zones, and critical infrastructure. They work alongside state and local law enforcement to control perimeters, manage access points, and prevent interference with emergency response efforts. The division is also tasked with protective services for high-ranking officials, emergency coordinators, and specialized response teams during active operations. In elevated threat situations, DoS units may conduct crowd control, escort missions, and security patrols to ensure responder and civilian safety.
