Within the Guard are the best soldiers and tacticians Rome has to offer. Guardsmen hold powerful authority, such as immunity to Lex Basics and the ability to criminalize enemies of Rome. The Praetorian Guard is an exclusive organization, with recruits being hand-picked by its officers. Suitable recruits for the Praetorian Guard are often active legionnaires able to act with intelligence, with a passionate loyalty to Rome and her people.
