中華民國國軍（簡稱國軍）是中華民國的國家武裝力量，由總統統帥，國防部管轄，奉行軍隊國家化。以「保衛臺澎金馬」為核心任務，常備兵力約18.9萬人，包含陸、海、空三軍，近年復徵一年期義務役。部隊由志願役與義務役結合，致力於現代化與聯合作戰能力，致力維護國家安全。The Republic of China Armed Forces (ROC) is the national armed forces of the Republic of China, commanded by the President and administered by the Ministry of National Defense, adhering to the principle of nationalization of the military. Its core mission is "defending Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu." It has a standing force of approximately 189,000 personnel, comprising the Army, Navy, and Air Force, and in recent years has reinstated one-year compulsory military service. The force combines voluntary and compulsory service, focusing on modernization and joint operations capabilities, and is dedicated to maintaining national security.
