Description
Over two centuries of perpetual fog and salt air didn't just erode their steel—it dismantled their history. The grand nations of the old world devolved into children's stories, then into obscure parables, until finally, the "Before" became nothing more than a cautionary myth. When they look across the water at the Mist, they don't see long-lost human cousins. They see living fossils—stubborn "Veils" clinging to a dead surface, breathers of unpurified air who foolishly believe the sun is coming back. The local villages and towns close to the beach came together to form an militia named the Commonwealth to hold those so called "veils" back at the beach to defend those they hold dear, they saw them as a threat to the continent, Being one of the first formed militias to counter the new threat with what they have. No matter how hopeless it was.... Motto: "First to Stand, Last to Yield."
