【LAC Peace Officer Standards and Training】【Certification Group】 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 【Information】 The Peace Officer Standards and Training, or POST, was assembled to create a standard of training for all law enforcement agencies serving Los Angeles County, and to ensure that all law enforcement officers were held to the same standard, no matter which department they work for. In order to work for any LEO agency in LAC, you must be ranked "POST Certified" in this group first. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 【Status】 Applications: OPEN ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 【Application Process】 1. Take the Citizenship Exam in the main LAC group and be ranked Middle Class Citizen. 2. Join the POST disc and you will find the POST application. 3. Request to join this group. 4. Once accepted, join the disc and watch for training announcements. 5. Once you graduate as POST Certified, you may then apply for jobs in LE agencies.
