Description
The Sons of the Harpy were formed after Daenerys Targaryen conquered Meereen as part of her campaign to break the servant trade in Servant's Bay. They took their name from the harpy, the traditional heraldic symbol of the servant-masters in the Ghiscari cities of Servant's Bay, and the Ghiscari Empire before them. They concealed their identities by wearing golden masks with horned faces resembling harpies.
