The Brussels Fire Brigade is at your service 24/7. Its mission: to save lives, prevent risks and act quickly and effectively in emergencies. Whether it’s a house fire, a road accident, a medical emergency or a large-scale disaster, our teams are ready. Core tasks: - Firefighting We fight fires in homes, buildings, vehicles and public spaces on a daily basis. We protect people, animals, property and the environment. - Emergency medical services Our ambulance crews are often the first on site. They provide first aid and ensure safe transport to hospital. - Technical rescue From floods to road accidents and rescue operations: our teams respond quickly and efficiently to all types of technical emergencies. - Risk management and prevention We analyse risks in the urban environment, provide safety advice, carry out inspections and raise public awareness – with particular attention to vulnerable groups.
