Conscripts | Japan Self-Defense Forces ▬▬▬[ Information ]▬▬▬ Conscripts are pre-war soldiers captured during the Seven-Hour War and were forced to work for the Combine forces as the first line of defense. Conscripts were used to perform dirty work or even undertake life-threatening tasks, such as protecting valued locations, exterminating Xen creatures from sewers, or cleaning up other filth. Although most Conscripts were soldiers from before the Seven-Hour War, the Combine later began to conscript regular civilians. Conscripts were considered to be cannon fodder and often lacked in skill and experience.
