Description
In the 1940s, a Triad faction led by a clever “Dragon Head” named Lóng zhī hòu jì fled Hong Kong after a failed uprising. They settled in Palermo, Sicily, initially running illegal spice through the foreign neighborhoods. The local Cosa Nostra family, the Rizzutos, was weakened by police activity. Lóng offered a deal. Protection of Sicilian routes in exchange for access to Chinese smuggling networks in Southeast Asia. Intermarriage followed. Lóng’s son married the Rizzuto underboss’s daughter. Within a generation, the organizations merged. The Crimson Dragon Clan has since become an active producer of cola, protector of trade routes, and manager of the underground market.
