Description

A group of Scottish settlers, who had originally been captured and forced into service in the British army, rebelled and formed the British Freemen’s Militia in 1721. Facing destruction, they banded together with other rebel groups under the banner of the Phoenix. After Phoenix Company was crushed in a final stand with the redcoats, the last freemen scattered. After escaping capture, their leader, Darius, reunited the remaining men and formed the Gaelic Freemen, shaking the British command structure in favor of Scottish Clan ranks. These Warbands will stop at nothing to uproot the presence of the Saint Lawrence Company and retake the Canadian lands that they settled even before the French.
