Description
The State of Rosemont was established in March of 1774 in the central interior of the present-day Federation of Arcadia by settlers from the Sylvania Dominion. Earlier settlements had existed since 1683, primarily along the South Branch River. Following the uprising against Pax Britannia, Rosemont joined the Federation of Arcadia as a state on 17 August 1776, contributing agricultural support and volunteer regiments during the War of Independence. The state is characterized by its rolling plains, fertile farmland, forested hills, and the River Argent forming its western border. It comprises the County of Fair Hollow, County of Hillford , County of Coldwater, and County of Alcott. Rosemont is seated in the city of Bellminster, located in the County of Hillford .
