Messene #6740675
Description
𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐄 Surrounded by the barren Mount Taygetus to the East and the eternal Ionian Sea to the West, Messene prides itself as the leading city-state of Messenia, the region to which it owes its name. Years of conquest and foreign occupation have developed Messene into a heavily militarized and laconic state, ruled by the two Tyrants owing their lineage to Alkaios himself. Fielding an army of bronze-clad citizen hoplites as well as many foreign Peloponnisioi from its surrounding client states, the forces of Messenia know no bounds to their conquest. With favor of Zeus Thunderer and knowledge of Athena Parthenos, the flame of Messene has been kindled once more.
