Higgs family #677267334
Description
The Gold Ears are a powerful coalition of goblin merchants, financiers, caravan masters, and coin-scribes who rose to prominence during the chaos of the Age of Fracture. In the aftermath of the Western Empire’s collapse, trade routes became dangerous, currencies lost value, and entire settlements were cut off from one another. While nobles fought wars over territory, the goblins of the Gold Ears recognized a greater truth: whoever controlled the flow of coin would control the future of Grothmaw Valley. Built upon commerce rather than conquest, the Gold Ears established a vast network of counting houses, fortified vaults, caravans, and trade posts stretching across the fractured regions of the valley. Their influence comes not from armies, but from necessity. Merchants, mercenaries, nobles, and even smugglers rely upon the Gold Ears to safely transfer wealth between settlements without risking dangerous travel through war-torn lands. Their greatest achievement is the Ledger Mark
