Description
✦✦✦ House Arryn of the Eyrie — “As High as Honor” — ✦✦✦ Nestled atop the towering peaks of the Vale, House Arryn is one of the oldest and noblest families in the realm. Their seat, the Eyrie, is an almost impregnable fortress perched high in the mountains — protected by narrow passes like the Bloody Gate — and commanding breathtaking views of the fertile valleys below. Renowned for their discipline and valor, Vale knights form the backbone of their defense — making the Arryns formidable even without massive armies. Throughout history, the Arryns have maintained the Vale’s safety through careful alliances, law, and honor — always guided by their motto: “As High as Honor”. Their influence extends to trade and naval power via Gulltown — reflecting both strategic acumen and steadfast principles.
