𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐉𝐎𝐇𝐍 𝐊𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐑 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Arose in 1070 during the 11th Century and founded by Gerard Thom in 1099, the Knights Hospitaller served as a Catholic Military Order. Their purpose was to provide care to the sick, poor, or injured pilgrims coming to the "Holy Land", and as their motto states- they were to "defend the faith and help the poor". The Knights Hospitaller are most notable for their charge during the Battle of Arsuf, which would lead to a decisive crusader victory.
