Description
The year is 2442. Over two hundred years ago, humanity lifted off of their homeworld and took to the stars. Advances in technology, like nuclear fission and faster-than-light travel, enabled the colonization of star systems across the Orion Arm of the galaxy. Control of the inhabited universe is split among several nations; the largest being that of Byzantium, which took the name of the once-great Eastern Roman Empire of Ancient Earth. Earth itself is a neutral planet, where every galactic nation has a presence and a say in it's governance.
