Description
The 501st Legion, also known as Vader’s Fist, was an elite unit within the Grand Army of the Republic. It was made up of highly skilled clone troopers and served directly under Jedi General Anakin Skywalker. During the Clone Wars, the 501st took part in several key battles, including the assault on the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. When Order 66 was issued, the 501st followed Anakin now Darth Vader and helped him destroy the Jedi Order. After the rise of the Galactic Empire, the 501st was absorbed into the Imperial military structure. It remained one of the most feared and loyal stormtrooper units in the galaxy. The legion’s reputation for effectiveness and ruthlessness endured long after the fall of the Republic.
