{ 𝔍𝔞𝔤𝔡𝔰𝔱𝔞𝔣𝔣𝔢𝔩 8 } The Royal Prussian Jadgstaffel 8 was a fighter squadron of the Luftstreitkräfte (Not to be mistaken for a WW2 Germany rip off.) Here this group aims to accurately portray and reenactment the squadrons activities within the battlefield using books and citations to help get a better idea of where they fought on the western front, and what aircraft they most commonly used. { ℌ𝔦𝔰𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔦𝔠𝔞𝔩 𝔉𝔬𝔬𝔱𝔫𝔬𝔱𝔢𝔰 } Jasta 8 was formed on 10 September 1916 through FEA 10, with personnel coming from FA 6, FA(A) 213, FA 40, and FA 33. Initially commanded by Hauptmann Gustav Stenzel, the staffel mobilized on 12 September at Rumbeke in the 4th Armee sector and flew its first missions three days later. { ℭ𝔲𝔯𝔯𝔢𝔫𝔱 𝔓𝔩𝔞𝔫𝔢𝔰 ℑ𝔫 𝔘𝔰𝔞𝔤𝔢 } D VIII (typo on purpose) Pfalz D.IIIa We have no motto. The insignia shown in the group picture is historically accurate.
