Description
Global Defense Initiative Founded: October 12, 1995, under the United Nations Global Defense Act. Purpose: To eliminate multinational terrorism and preserve global freedom. Primary Enemy: The Brotherhood of Nod, a shadowy, fanatical organization bent on global upheaval. GDI fights with honor and courage, rejecting the use of Tiberium-based weapons despite their power. Their soldiers are portrayed as disciplined, loyal, and committed to protecting humanity from both alien threats and internal chaos.
