Our world has turned into the scorching wasteland we have come to know as 'the Scorch'; chaos, destruction, death, corruption, the world seems hopeless. But what if I tell you there is a reason to hope again? A reason to hope for a cure, law, order and peace? A few years ago, humanity's last chance at survival was destroyed by anarchists, or were we? For the past eight years, our organization has been rebuilding for a second chance at survival. We are the World Catastrophe Killzone Department, WCKD. We are transmitting this message calling upon you to join us. We will provide you with food and shelter, so that you may serve humanity.
