Description
Volksreich Preußen (1880–1951) „Für Volk und Stahl!“ After the economic ruin of Kaiser Wilhelm II following the Great War, the Prussian state was bankrupt and desperate. Titles, lands, and patents were sold to industrial powers to save what remained. The Siemens Consortium seized the opportunity, buying the core of the old empire and restoring its image with modern forces. The company’s leader ascended as Kaiser, ruling with symbolic supremacy, while a parliament of former industrialists—now titled as Reichskanzler and ministers—handled the day-to-day governance. This hybrid model echoed early Dutch constitutional rule under Willem I: strong sovereign authority with parliamentary freedom. Thus rose the Volksreich Preußen, where legacy and innovation coexisted under iron discipline.
