Description
The Client Province of Mauretania Tingitania. This short-lived Roman Client Kingdom and all its inhabitants. One of Rome's less notorious states, Mauretania was at first an independent Kingdom, and later, a Roman Vassal. With abundant access to the coast, the province served as an important Roman port. Famous for its mythical rulers, barren land and the glimmering capital of Tingis, now known as Tangier. We now stand loyal to none other than the Emperor of Rome himself, along with his loyal subordinate, the Governor. Fortuna audaces iuvat, AVE MAURETANIA
